Who runs it
The AI Collective Berlin team: six people led by Timo Spring, with Nicole A. del Rosario as your single point of contact. Part of a global network of 250,000+ members in 150+ city chapters.
Berlin has trade fairs and it has meetups. It has almost nothing in between.
GITEX AI Europe brought 21,650 people to Messe Berlin. The builder meetups deliberately keep business attendees out. Neither puts a budget holder in a room with a real problem.

III Your Challenge Night
One evening, one real problem of yours, three startups who applied to solve it.
A pitch evening at an AI Collective Berlin event.
Before
You name the problem
A 90 minute meeting with us. Any challenge qualifies: technology, HR, operations, sales. It goes out as an open call to Berlin's startups, and we pre-select the three strongest pitches.
First hour
Three pitches to your jury
At your office or site. The people who would buy the solution are the jury: managers, engineers, whoever you send. The community is the audience. You pick the "Most Buyable", the pitch you would most like to buy.
After
The room works for you
Food and drinks, with the winner in the middle of it. Up to 100 curated decision makers who now know what you are looking for.
You host the evening at your office or site and cover the venue and food and drinks for up to 100 guests. These costs are not part of the €30,000 programme fee. Prefer not to host? Venture Café Berlin can provide the stage and venue.

IV The Human Layer · 2 June
A hackathon where nobody writes code.
AI is speeding up how organisations work. Transformation still depends on people being able to align, decide, disagree and act together at speed.
Ten of your managers spend one day with senior peers from seven other companies, working on the conversations your organisation is not having: with the works council, between teams and up the hierarchy.

IX Questions
What budget holders ask us.
The programme
What is Berlin AI 2027?
A 2027 programme of The AI Collective's Berlin chapter. Eight Founding Companies, one per category, get four seated dinners, one Challenge Night each and one Human Layer day for their managers.
What is The AI Collective?
A global network of 250,000+ members in 150+ city chapters across 50+ countries. The Berlin chapter has run events since June 2026.
Who are the other seven companies?
One company per category, so none of them competes with you. The Founding Companies are announced together at the season opener in late January.
What does "one company per category" mean?
No competitor of yours can join as a Founding Company in 2027. We agree your category in the first call.
Cost and commitment
What does it cost?
€30,000 for 2027, flat rate, excl. VAT. All eight companies pay the same. There is no smaller package.
What costs come on top?
VAT. If you host your Challenge Night at your own site, the venue and food and drinks for up to 100 guests. At the dinners, anything beyond the included €80 food and €120 drinks per guest.
How much time does it take from our side?
Four people at each of the four dinners. A 90 minute intake and your jury for one Challenge Night. Ten managers for one day on 2 June. Optional: an executive on stage at the season opener.
What happens after 2027?
At the season close in early December, Founding Companies get first right to their category for 2028.
The Berlin Table
Who sits at the dinners?
Four people from each of the eight Founding Companies, and six guests per company: the leads, customers, partners and investors each company wants to meet. 80 seated guests in total.
Can we invite our own customers and leads?
Yes. You have six guest seats at every dinner. Tell us who you want to meet, and The AI Collective activates its network to invite them.
Can we send different people to each dinner?
Yes. You choose your four people for each dinner.
Where do the dinners take place?
At Papillon, Zoologischer Garten, on 11 March, 17 June, 16 September and 18 November. One person per company joins the Founding Companies' Hour at the Lang Bar of the Ritz-Carlton beforehand.
Your Challenge Night
What kind of problem fits?
Any real problem: technology, HR, operations, sales or go to market. We shape it with you in a 90 minute intake.
How are the startups selected?
The problem goes out as an open call to Berlin's startups, including the members of AI Agents Berlin. We map the field via the Berlin AI Map and pre-select the three strongest pitches.
Where and when does it happen?
At your office or site, or at Venture Café Berlin if you prefer not to host. In one of nine months between February and November; earlier commitments pick their month first.
Our problem is confidential. Does this still work?
Yes. Ask us about a closed format for defence, security and regulated companies.
The Human Layer and next steps
Who should take part in The Human Layer?
Ten of your managers. They spend 2 June with senior peers from the seven other companies.
What do participants take home?
An implementation framework for specific actions in your organisation, and documentation you can include in your AI literacy measures under Article 4 of the EU AI Act. Everything shared stays under a strict NDA.
Who is our contact during the year?
Nicole A. del Rosario, Company Success, is your single point of contact. Timo Spring, Berlin Chapter Lead, owns the Founding Company relationship.
How do we get started?
Book a 30 minute call. Then a 90 minute intake on your Challenge Night problem, then contract and slot. Slots are allocated until 15 December 2026.
IX Next step
